Shifts with several people count once for each person.
A guide based on UK working time rules: at least 24 hours off in every 7 days, rest between shifts, and no more than 48 hours of work a week on average. It's not legal advice, and some contracts or opt-outs differ.
Predictions come from the days of the week you usually work and the shifts you usually do on them. They're a guide, not your real rota. Tap Add to rota to check a predicted shift and save it.
Taking a break from care work? Pause your account: you'll be signed out and everything is kept until you come back and reactivate it. To remove everything for good, use Privacy → Delete my account.
Estimate for one monthly pay period using 2026/27 rates for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Your payslip is the final word: tax codes, pension schemes and pay dates can change the exact figures.
Plan each pot as a % of take-home or a fixed £ amount. Type what you actually spent in each pot as the period goes. That saves on its own for this pay period.
Talk to other carers about shifts, pay, rest and meeting up. Everyone shows as a nickname: nobody sees your name or where you work.
Worried about care or safety at work? A post here won't fix it. Raise it with your manager or your company's whistleblowing line, tell the CQC, or get free, confidential advice from Protect. If someone is in danger, call 999.
This is the only thing other carers see. Don't use your real name.
Only you can see this. Hidden posts disappear for everyone.

Shiftbuck keeps your shift, pay and money details so it can work out your pay. We don't sell your data, show ads, track you with cookies or share anything with your employer.
Shiftbuck is made by WesTech Innovation, which is responsible for this app. Contact us through westechinnovation.com.
Shiftbuck does not ask for your bank details, National Insurance number, address or date of birth, and it isn't connected to your bank.
Please use first names or initials only for the people you support. Don't add health details or other personal information about them in notes.
When you sign in, your data is kept in Shiftbuck's database, run on Supabase. It's tied to your account and locked so that only you can read or change it. Supabase stores and processes it for us under its own privacy policy.
In demo mode, nothing is sent anywhere: your data stays in this browser on this device.
Nobody else using Shiftbuck can see your data: not other carers and not your employer. The only exceptions are what you choose to share: your posts and profile in the community, private messages (only you and the carer you're talking to can read them, unless one of you reports a message to the moderators), and messages to the Shiftbuck team.
Shiftbuck doesn't use cookies for advertising or tracking, and has no analytics. It keeps a few things in your browser: which tab you last had open, so the app opens where you left off. When you're signed in it also keeps your sign-in session, so you stay signed in; in demo mode it keeps all your Shiftbuck data in this browser. Fonts and code come from Shiftbuck's own site, so nothing is requested from Google or other third parties. The only other service Shiftbuck talks to is Supabase, which stores your data.
Because nothing is used for tracking, there's no cookie banner. If that ever changes, we'll ask you first.
Only to give you the app: working out your pay, take-home, rest check, charts and money plan. Your information isn't used for anything else.
You also have rights under UK data protection law. If you're unhappy with how your data is handled, contact us, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Until you delete it. If this version of Shiftbuck closes, you'll be told in advance so you can download your data.
Pay, tax and rest figures are estimates to help you plan. They are not financial, tax or legal advice. Your payslip is the final word.
This deletes your account and all your shifts, payslips, spending and settings. It can't be undone, so download a backup first if you want one.

Shiftbuck is free. Use it to track your own shifts, pay and rest, and be kind and safe in the community. Its figures are estimates, not advice. Never post anything that could identify the people you support.
Shiftbuck is made by WesTech Innovation ("we"). Contact us by messaging the Shiftbuck team in the app (Community → Messages) or through westechinnovation.com.
Your shifts, pay and money details belong to you. How we keep them is set out in the privacy notice. You can download or delete them at any time.
When you post or send a message you keep ownership of it, and you let us store it and show it to the people it's meant for so the community can work. Everyone shows as a nickname. You must not:
If you're worried about care or safety at work, raise it with your employer's whistleblowing process, the CQC or Protect. If someone is in danger, call 999.
To complain about content, about how we handled a report, or about anything else in Shiftbuck, message the Shiftbuck team in the app. If we hid your post or restricted your account and you think we got it wrong, tell us the same way and a different moderator will look at it again. We aim to reply within 5 working days and will tell you what we decided and why.
For concerns about your personal data you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office.
You can delete your account at any time, or pause it in the full app. Deleting it removes your shifts, settings, posts and messages. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law or someone's safety stops us.
Shiftbuck is new and will change. We'll tell you in the app before any important change to these terms. We try to keep Shiftbuck working, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, so keep your payslips and download a backup now and then.
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer under UK law. We're responsible for losses that were foreseeable and caused by us not using reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for decisions you make using estimates in the app, or for what other carers post or send, although we act on reports.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
